8090 Star Yang Soo-kyung Signs Exclusive Contract with IHQ
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Singer Yang Soo-kyung is starting activities by partnering with a new agency.
IHQ announced on the 24th that they signed an exclusive contract with Yang Soo-kyung, stating, "We will spare no support to deliver good music."
Yang Soo-kyung, who is in her 37th year since debuting this year, began her singing career in 1984. After appearing on KBS's 'Newcomer Stage' in 1986, she gained love through songs such as 'Leaving Heart', 'Love is Like Raindrops Outside the Window', 'Love is a Cold Temptation', and 'Where is the End of Goodbye'.
In 1991, she established herself as an original Hallyu star by winning the NHK Asia Top 5 Star Award and the ABU (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union) Popular Singer Award, and in 1994, she participated in the Eastern European Song Festival Baekya Festival and won the grand prize. Recently, she is experiencing a second heyday through variety programs such as 'Burning Youth' and 'Immortal Songs'.
