Part-time Job Matching Platform 'Ssun' Surpasses 2 Billion KRW Monthly Transactions... 300% Rapid Growth Rate
Reduce part-time absence rate to below 0.5%... 100,000 KRW compensation support for absences
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Freelancer market platform Kmong (CEO Park Hyun-ho) announced on the 24th that its simple part-time job matching service 'Soon' grew by 300% in the fourth quarter of last year alone, surpassing a monthly transaction amount of 200 million KRW.
Kmong launched the quick and easy part-time job matching service 'Soon' in the second half of 2018 to solve the problems faced by small business owners struggling with sudden labor shortages. In December 2020, it was revamped into a comprehensive solution service 'Soon 2.0' that manages everything from hiring part-time workers to their attendance, and is currently in operation.
Soon not only quickly connects customers with suitable workers but also prevents absenteeism after hiring and manages it. In particular, the matching system based on accumulated data such as work experience, absentee records, and reviews on Soon is said to enhance customer satisfaction.
Based on this, the absenteeism rate of part-time workers for Soon customers was found to be below 0.5%. Soon reduces customer losses by immediately providing a compensation of 100,000 KRW in case of part-time worker absenteeism. Accordingly, even in the situation where the entire dining industry market froze due to COVID-19, Soon's transaction amount steadily increased, recording a threefold growth compared to the previous quarter in the fourth quarter of last year, surpassing 210 million KRW within one year of service launch.
