I Feel Like a Princess! ... Gijang-gun and HW International Sign Business Agreement to Support Vulnerable Children
HW International and officials from Gijang-gun Dream Start are taking a commemorative photo after extending the memorandum of understanding for the "Whole Family Birthday Party Program."
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun Dream Start extended its business agreement with HW International on the 18th to provide customized family programs for children from vulnerable groups. The agreement, which has been ongoing since last October, was renewed.
The agreement covers the "Whole Family Birthday Party Program," which includes ▲setting up a birthday table ▲providing a cake with lettering ▲taking commemorative photos.
Since last October, a total of 24 families have been supported: 6 families in October, 9 in November, and 9 in December.
Gijang-gun reported that a satisfaction survey on the Whole Family Birthday Party Program showed that both caregivers and children who participated responded with "very satisfied."
One child who participated in the program said, "Thanks to the restaurant's beautiful lighting and interior, I felt like a princess."
Kim Woo-gyo, manager at HW International, said, "All participants were very satisfied and grateful," adding, "As a self-employed person during these difficult times, this gives me great strength."
A Gijang-gun official said, "We hope that children celebrating their birthdays and their caregivers experience emotional stability and positive family relationships through the birthday party."
