Gwangju Dong-gu, Operation of 2022 District Residents' Informatization Classes
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Dong-gu, Gwangju announced on the 20th that it will operate the '2022 District Residents Informatization Class' throughout the year.
Dong-gu plans to conduct 'visiting customized informatization education' by utilizing idle spaces provided by administrative welfare centers and self-governing organizations as classrooms, and will also run children's coding education in connection with local children's centers.
This informatization education is divided into ▲Basic course on computer and internet use ▲Basic course on document writing, Excel, and PowerPoint ▲Smartphone, SNS, image and video editing courses, and will be held from February 7th with a morning class (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and an afternoon class (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM).
Residents who wish to participate can apply by phone to the Media Communication Division of Dong-gu Office Public Relations Office or through the mobile app 'Dong-gu Doodream'.

A Dong-gu official said, "To increase accessibility for residents, we are operating various educational programs not only inside the district office but also at external locations," and added, "We hope many local residents participate to acquire and utilize essential knowledge in the informatization era."
