Gyeongbuk Yeongyang-gun Holds Enrollment Briefing for Multicultural Prospective Elementary School Parents
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] The Yeongyang Office of Education in Gyeongbuk held an elementary school multicultural prospective parents' enrollment briefing session on the 19th from 2 PM to 4 PM.
This enrollment briefing session is an opportunity to clearly address the questions of multicultural parents. It is a project conducted for the first time this year to alleviate concerns and fears about the Korean education system, school environment, and curriculum, and to help understand school life.
The Office of Education coordinated with the Yeongyang-gun Family Center to provide promotional interpretation support and other related services for multicultural families.
Training materials translated into English, Chinese, and Vietnamese were distributed, and for minority languages, communication was facilitated through interpreters.
