Earlier, Kim's side applied for an injunction against the broadcast aired on the 16th and partially succeeded, and has now applied for an injunction against the broadcast scheduled for the 23rd. Kim is the creditor, and MBC is the debtor in the lawsuit.

The People Power Party's campaign headquarters stated, "We repeatedly requested MBC to inform us of the broadcast's outline and content and to guarantee the right to reply, but they did not disclose any outline, topic, or content." They added, "Asking for a rebuttal without knowing what will be broadcast is against common sense and violates journalistic ethics." They further noted, "We plan to focus on the fact that the right to reply was not guaranteed during the trial process."
