HiteJinro Signs Business Agreement with Qcleaf for Eco-Friendly Activities
Utilization of Auxiliary Materials Generated in Terra Production Process
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] HiteJinro announced on the 20th that it has signed a business agreement with the domestic upcycling specialist brand Qcleaf for eco-friendly activities.
HiteJinro has taken the lead in eco-friendly management activities by obtaining environmental product declarations for major products such as Terra and Jinro, and last year conducted the 'Clean Recycle' campaign to spread a proper resource circulation culture.
Through this business agreement, the company plans to contribute to fulfilling social and environmental responsibilities throughout the entire process from production to consumption in the mandatory environmental era.
HiteJinro, together with Qcleaf, plans to utilize by-products generated in the production process of the 'Clean Lager - Terra' to create upcycled products with new value through eco-friendly processes for consumers.

Qcleaf is a leading domestic upcycling brand that transforms used resources into sensory brands. A representative project is collecting more than about 1 ton of discarded umbrellas per week in Seoul and recreating them into upcycled bags.
