Lotte Shopping Donates 30 Million Won for 'Young Carers'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Shopping announced on the 19th that it has donated 30 million KRW to Hope Friends Kia Daechaek for the support of "Young Carers" through the "Rejoice On (溫)" fund.
The "Rejoice On Campaign" was a customer participation fundraising event held on Lotte On last December for one month to support young carers who have to simultaneously manage their studies and livelihood.
This campaign involved Lotte Shopping donating 1,000 KRW each time a customer clicked, with about 30,000 participants raising a total of 30 million KRW. The donation will be used for young carers' self-development support funds and counseling support funds.

Kim Hak-su, head of Lotte Shopping's CSR team, said, "The response was very positive, with an average of about 1,000 customers participating in the funding daily," adding, "We plan to actively support neighbors in welfare blind spots in our society, including young carers, going forward."
