The campaign headquarters' public relations team pointed out, "Despite requesting MBC to inform us of the broadcast outline and content and to guarantee the right to rebuttal, they did not disclose any details such as the broadcast summary, theme, or content," adding, "Asking for a rebuttal without knowing what will be broadcast is against common sense and violates journalistic ethics."
Earlier, the campaign headquarters also filed a request for a broadcast injunction regarding the recording file report aired on the 16th. On the 14th, the court partially accepted the injunction, and MBC disclosed content unrelated to investigations or political views about Kim, such as everyday conversations. The file is a recording of a conversation between Kim and a person named Lee from Seoul Voice.
Additionally, they stated that MBC reporter Jang In-su revealed in an interview the parts prohibited from broadcast by the court, and that they will file a criminal complaint for defamation of a candidate under the Public Official Election Act.

Furthermore, regarding new voice files related to Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, the public relations team insisted that MBC's investigative program "Straight" should report the same amount and format. The public relations team said, "The sexually abusive language, which is difficult to mention, is inappropriate for public broadcasting and does not need to be aired," but urged that the attempts to forcibly hospitalize his older brother and the false explanations about Yoo Dong-gyu, former head of the Planning Department at Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, which are recorded in this file, should also be broadcast.
