According to major foreign media on the 17th (local time), on the 5th of this month, 18 Russian diplomats and their families staying at the Russian embassy in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, boarded a bus bound for Moscow.
Subsequently, about 30 people also withdrew from the Russian consulates in Kyiv and Lviv, located in western Ukraine, and left for Moscow. An official who requested anonymity added that diplomats at two other Russian consulates were also instructed to prepare to leave Ukraine.
