On the 18th, Kwon held a press conference at the People Power Party central office and said, "This means firmly blocking malicious misunderstandings surrounding the Network Headquarters."
He explained, "The Network Headquarters is an organization that has been with Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, since the beginning of his political career. Therefore, this disbandment measure is naturally the candidate's decision."
He added, "I also want to emphasize that we will continue to remove any parts that could cause harm or misunderstandings to the candidate regarding such malicious misunderstandings or rumors."
During the Q&A session after the press conference, when asked by a reporter whether the role of the Network Headquarters would be transferred to another headquarters, he replied, "We are disbanding without calculating whether it will have any impact."

The day before, candidate Yoon dismissed related allegations, saying, "That person has never held a position in the election headquarters and only introduced volunteers. The idea that he is involved in schedules or messages is absurd." Regarding the strong measure of disbanding the headquarters despite this, Kwon stated, "Although there is no substance, since the election headquarters could be affected by baseless rumors, we took this extreme measure."
