In this inaugural contest, many future designers with fresh ideas participated, and various creative works were honored with awards. After the submission period from October to December last year and about a month of judging, the winning works were selected, including △Grand Prize (1 work) △Excellence Award (1 work) △Merit Award (2 works) △Encouragement Award (3 works), totaling 7 works as the final winners.
The Grand Prize winner receives a certificate and a prize of 2 million KRW, the Excellence Award winner receives a certificate and 1 million KRW, and the other winners also receive certificates and prize money respectively.
The Grand Prize was awarded to Hwang Min-geun, a student at Myongji University, for the work titled "Onjae (溫在): A Living Space Where Warmth Exists." The Grand Prize-winning work reflects the lifestyle trend of the MZ generation, who seek a rustic life away from the increasing single-person households and the complexity of urban life, by implementing a "Rustic Life" interior. The work features a 40㎡ (approximately 12.1 pyeong) officetel space composed of 1.5 rooms, designed as a convenient yet lyrical space where one can feel the unique tranquility and warmth of the countryside, earning high praise from the judges.
The results can be checked through the notice section of the HomeCC Mall customer center, and the winning works will be introduced sequentially at the HomeCC Mall showroom.
