Goheung-gun Publishes Guidebook on Livestock Support Projects
Preventing Occurrence of Non-Applicant Farms, Sharing Livestock-Related Information
[Asia Economy] Goheung-gun, Jeonnam Province (Governor Song Gwigeun) announced that it will produce detailed guides for each project to ensure smooth progress and early completion of the 2022 Livestock Sector Subsidy Support Projects through active promotion.
The newly produced guidebook aims to prevent livestock farms from missing applications due to lack of information caused by difficulties in holding project briefings for livestock farms amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 1,400 copies of the guidebook will be produced and distributed to livestock farms, producer organizations, and agricultural corporations down to the farm level.
The guidebook includes information on the implementation details, application methods, application periods, and responsible departments for 51 detailed projects across five sectors: ▲11 projects in livestock policy ▲11 projects in animal welfare ▲5 projects in livestock management ▲10 projects in livestock resources ▲14 projects in the county’s own projects. Additionally, the appendix contains livestock-related information such as ▲livestock business licensing and registration guidance ▲education for livestock-related workers ▲operation of livestock environment disinfection days ▲methods for calculating appropriate breeding density per unit area.
