Beolgyo Elementary School (Principal Kim In-ok) held a 'bazaar' on November 5th last year, where students and the Parent Association sold household items that were no longer used at home to raise funds for helping neighbors in need.
At the donation ceremony, Principal Kim In-ok said, "It was a good opportunity to learn the spirit of sharing with neighbors in difficulty and living together."
Through the bazaar, which considered neighbors in need, students and parents had an experience of communication, and young students had a valuable opportunity to learn social skills and economic awareness.
Student Council President Kim Yuna expressed, "I feel good because I was able to earn money and help friends in need through the bazaar."
