Imsil-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Youth Local Settlement Support Project' Until the 21st
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participants for the ‘2022 Jeonbuk-type Youth Allowance (Jeonbuk Youth Regional Settlement Support Project)’ until the 21st.
The Jeonbuk-type Youth Allowance is a project that supports young people in the early stages of employment by compensating for low wages so that they can settle stably in the region.
Since the pilot project in 2019, the number of recruits and the scope of support targets have been expanded year by year, and income criteria have been relaxed so that more young people can benefit.
This year, the number of recruits is 25.
Eligibility requirements include young people aged 18 to 39 who have been employed full-time for more than one year in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, small and medium enterprises, culture and arts, or research institute companies located in the province, and whose household income is below 150% of the median income based on resident registration and who have lived in the province for more than one year.
Applications can be submitted online through the Jeonbuk-type Youth Allowance website or the Jeonbuk Youth Hub Center.
Selected youths will receive points linked to a credit card, which can be used monthly at 300,000 KRW for up to one year.
A county official said, “We expect this to contribute to improving the quality of life of county youths and their stable settlement in the region,” and added, “We hope many local youths participate and receive benefits.”
