Air Seoul Operates 'Gimpo~Jeju' International Tourist Flights
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Air Seoul announced on the 14th that it will operate an international sightseeing flight from Gimpo to Jeju on the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, the 30th.
The Gimpo~Jeju international sightseeing flight departs from Gimpo International Airport at 8:30 AM on the 30th, flies over Japanese airspace, and lands at Jeju International Airport at 10:05 AM about 90 minutes later. It offers the same overseas duty-free benefits as the existing Gimpo~Gimpo non-stop flight.
Onboard, passengers can win prizes such as a Kagawa Prefecture original goods set, a hotel stay voucher in Takamatsu city, Tottori Prefecture sake, and local specialties through quiz games. Tickets for the Gimpo~Jeju international sightseeing flight can be purchased on the Air Seoul website by selecting the destination as ‘Jeju·Regional Tourism Linked Flight’.

An Air Seoul official said, “It is cheaper than regular Jeju-bound tickets and allows duty-free shopping. Since the sightseeing flight uses a less crowded international airport, the return trip will be more convenient.”
