[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] The Democratic Party and the People Power Party have agreed to hold a one-on-one TV debate between presidential candidates before the Lunar New Year.
On the 13th, Park Ju-min of the Democratic Party and Seong Il-jong of the People Power Party, representatives of the ruling party's broadcast debate negotiation team, negotiated the presidential candidate TV debate at the National Assembly and agreed to "start the TV debate before the Lunar New Year holiday."
The two sides, meeting on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung and People Power presidential candidate Yoon Seok-youl, agreed on the format to "request terrestrial broadcasters to host a joint terrestrial invitation debate."
The debate topic will be "overall state affairs."
