Three Leading Female Entrepreneurs of Gimhae Donate 50 Million Won in Scholarships to Local Talents

The Gimhae Future Talent Scholarship Foundation announced on the 13th that Mungyo Chemical donated 30 million KRW, and SNC and Byeoksan Insuro each contributed 10 million KRW in scholarship funds.
The donating companies are representative female enterprises in Gimhae. Kim Min-ja, CEO of Mungyo Chemical, served as the inaugural president of the Gimhae Women Entrepreneurs Association; Kim Mi-kyung, CEO of SNC, served as the 5th and 8th president; and Ji Young-ran, CEO of Byeoksan Insuro, served as the 11th president.
They have played significant roles in providing field-oriented business management information to female entrepreneurs, enhancing their rights, and promoting the culture of women-led businesses.
CEO Kim Min-ja said, “The cold winter feels even colder due to COVID-19. As the new semester approaches, I want to support students facing economic difficulties so they do not feel marginalized,” explaining the reason for the donation.

A Gimhae City official said, “We are truly grateful for this donation despite the difficult local economy caused by COVID-19,” and added, “The city and the foundation will work harder to ensure all local students can focus on their studies.”
