According to Market Kurly, as of December last year, beauty products have grown into a product category where 1 out of 7 customers purchase and one item is sold every 6 seconds. The highest sales volume was seen in skincare products (30%), followed by oral care (21%) and body care (19%) products.
Makeup products, which started selling in August 2020, also saw a significant increase in sales and rapid growth, with the number of product varieties increasing to 174. Perfume products, launched in October last year, are also gaining popularity as gifts.
