Samsung Compliance Committee Holds Forum on 'Current Status and Improvement Plans for Compliance in Large Corporations'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] The Samsung Compliance Committee announced on the 11th that it will hold a forum titled "Current Status and Improvement Measures of Compliance in Large Corporations" on the afternoon of the 18th at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul.
In the first part of the forum, Professor Lee Bong-ui of Seoul National University School of Law will give a keynote presentation titled "Characteristics and Development Directions of Compliance in Large Corporate Groups: Focusing on the Samsung Compliance Committee," followed by discussions with Professor Jeong Jun-hyuk of Seoul National University School of Law and Park Jong-geun, Head of Ethics Management at Siemens Korea.
In the second part, Kang Sung-bu, CEO of KCGI, will present on the topic "Corporate Compliance through Stakeholders," followed by discussions with Shin Jin-young, President of the Korea Capital Market Institute, and Professor Park Kyung-seo of Korea University Business School.
Kim Ji-hyung, Chairman of the Samsung Compliance Committee, said, "I hope this forum will serve as a public platform to establish a desirable milestone for corporate compliance, building on the experience of the committee's first term over the past two years."
