TIPA Achieves Highest Grade in Data Quality Certification (DQC-V)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) announced on the 11th that it received the highest grade, "Platinum," in the '2021 Data Quality Certification Review' hosted by the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency, recognizing its contribution to quality management of R&D data for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Data Quality Certification (DQC-V, Data Quality Certification-Value) is a system that certifies the quality of data built and utilized by companies or public institutions. Based on the review results, it is divided into three grades: Platinum, Gold, and Silver. The highest grade, Platinum, can be obtained when the data consistency rate is 99.977% or higher.
The SME Technology Development Project Integrated Management System (SMTECH), which received the highest grade this time, is an online integrated project management system for efficient task management of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' technology development support projects. It consists of project announcements, task applications, electronic evaluations, and electronic agreements. SMTECH secured a consistency rate of 99.977% among 4.9 billion data points in this review.
