Samsung 'Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra' Receives Domestic Radio Certification... Expected to be Unveiled in February
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] A device presumed to be Samsung Electronics' tablet 'Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra' has received domestic radio certification.
According to the newly disclosed conformity status information from the National Radio Research Agency on the 11th, this product was certified the day before under the name '5G NR Mobile Communication Radio Equipment' (model number SM-X906N).
Conformity certification by the National Radio Research Agency for electronic products is usually conducted before domestic release. Industry insiders expect this product to be unveiled at Samsung Electronics' Unpacked event in February this year.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is expected to feature a 14.6-inch organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screen, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen1 application processor (AP), and a large-capacity battery of around 12,000 milliampere-hours (mAh). It is also anticipated to support 45-watt (W) fast charging.

According to related industry sources and foreign media reports, Samsung Electronics plans to release three types of devices in the Galaxy Tab S8 series early this year: S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra. The screen sizes are expected to be 11-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) for the S8 and 12.4-inch OLED for the S8+.
