Eglue Security Acquires Two Patents for SIEM and Cloud Technologies
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] IT and security company Igloo Security announced on the 11th that it has completed the registration of two patents specialized in integrated security monitoring (SIEM) and cloud fields.
These patents aim to improve the efficiency of processing exponentially generated security data and enhance the ease of use of SIEM solutions in multi-cloud environments.
First, one patent is a technology that efficiently processes large-scale data based on clustering techniques. It compares the values of data that need to be grouped in the memory of each node and determines the data as a grouping target if specific conditions are the same according to a set similarity criterion. By performing distributed grouping processing per node, it minimizes the 'shuffling' process, which is the data exchange between servers, preventing performance degradation issues of the network and memory.
The other patent is a technology that automatically installs SIEM software on multiple cloud servers in a multi-cloud environment using a common security monitoring template reflecting information from multiple cloud servers. This eliminates the hassle of applying different configurations for virtual machines, virtual networks, and storage depending on the type of cloud server, enabling efficient software operation.
