AIA Life Declares 'Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050'

On the 11th, Peter Jung, CEO of AIA Life, stated, "The goal of zero carbon emissions by 2050, pursued at the AIA Group level, is an important commitment that AIA Life must also fulfill," adding, "We will contribute to solving climate change issues and achieving sustainable and healthier development across Asia."
He continued, "AIA Life plans to continue its efforts to help achieve the Ministry of Environment's target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 37% by 2030 in compliance with the Paris Climate Agreement."
Accordingly, AIA Life will donate 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea and implement the 'HLBL Forest Project.' To meet the carbon emission reduction goals, they plan to create green spaces throughout urban areas.
