Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Calls for Nominations for Youth Development and Protection Merit Awards

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family announced on the 11th that it is calling for nominations for the '2022 Youth Development and Protection Merit Awards' to encourage individuals and organizations dedicated to the healthy growth of youth, as well as exemplary youth peers.
The Youth Merit Awards are presented annually in May to commemorate Youth Month, and this year nominations will be accepted via official documents or email until February 4. Nominations for youth candidates will be accepted until March 11.
Anyone in the public can recommend candidates. Eligible nominees include adult individuals, organizations, or companies active in various social fields for youth, as well as youth who serve as role models through proactive activities. The period of activity must be at least two years.

This year, the awards include 23 government honors such as medals, orders, Presidential citations, and Prime Minister citations, and 70 Minister of Gender Equality and Family citations, totaling 93 awards. The final awardees will be announced on the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family website in early May and will be honored at the Youth Month commemorative ceremony.
