On the 10th, the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee approved a revision to the Political Parties Act during the afternoon plenary session, lowering the age to join a political party from the current 18 years old to 16 years old.
The revision includes provisions that any citizen aged 16 or older can become a founding member or party member of a political party.
