China, US: "Taiwan card has more drawbacks than benefits... will burn to death"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] As the United States supports Lithuania, which is in conflict with China over the establishment of a 'Taiwan Representative Office,' China has issued a warning, calling it an 'action with more harm than benefit.'
Wang Wenbin, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a regular briefing on the 10th, "From the beginning, the United States has provoked Lithuania to break the 'One China' principle and continuously supports Lithuania," adding, "It is constantly encouraging Lithuania to be a bullet shield in a political calculation to 'check China through Taiwan.'"
He further criticized, saying, "The Taiwan card has more harm than benefit and will burn to death," and "We sternly warn the United States."
