Korean Air Partners with Samsung Electronics... Mileage Accumulation Mall Opens
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Korean Air announced that it will open an exclusive mileage accumulation mall for Skypass members on the 10th through a business partnership with Samsung Electronics.
At Korean Air’s ‘Samsung Electronics Mileage Mall,’ any Skypass member can purchase Samsung Electronics’ flagship electronic products such as TVs and refrigerators at discounted prices. Members can also earn 1 Korean Air Skypass mile for every 1,000 KRW spent.
Skypass members can access the ‘Samsung Electronics Mileage Mall’ by verifying their membership under the ‘Travel and Life’ menu in the Skypass section on the Korean Air website. From today until the 31st, an event is being held where all customers who purchase from the ‘Samsung Electronics Mileage Mall’ will receive a Starbucks Americano gifticon (limited to one per ID).
In addition to traditional mileage accumulation methods such as flight boarding and credit card usage, Korean Air provides customers with a wide range of mileage earning opportunities through collaborations with various partners. The ‘Travel and Life’ section within the Skypass menu on the Korean Air website introduces various mileage accumulation benefits from over 40 domestic and international partners.

Korean Air stated, "We are continuously expanding partnerships with travel-related industries in preparation for the post-COVID era," adding, "We are already working to enhance convenience for Skypass members by signing mileage accumulation partnerships with Trip.com, Klook, and Hyundai Department Store Duty Free in the second half of last year."
