[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Leading Investment & Securities stated that FNC Entertainment is "likely to turn a profit on a separate basis in 2021."
In a report on the 10th, Leading Investment & Securities said, "There was concern that FNC Entertainment would be designated as a 'management stock' if it recorded losses on a separate financial statement basis for four consecutive years. However, since a turnaround to profitability is expected on a separate financial statement basis in 2021, concerns about being designated as a 'management stock' are estimated to be low."
Researcher Yoo Sung-man of Leading Investment & Securities said, "Offline activities (concerts, fan meetings) are scheduled to resume from this year," adding, "The girl group is set to debut in Japan, and activities are expected to resume with the military discharge of CNBLUE and FT Island."
Researcher Yoo Sung-man evaluated that the momentum for the idol boy group started with the growth of P1Harmony under FNC Entertainment. He said, "The growth of FNC Entertainment's six-member boy group P1Harmony, which debuted in October 2020, is steep," and added, "They made a comeback with their third mini-album 'Disharmony: Find Out,' entering the top 3 K-pop albums in 10 global regions." Researcher Yoo said, "P1Harmony is growing rapidly, and the increase in their fandom in the U.S. is expected to act as a new growth momentum for the company."

'Who Is Princess? - Girl Group Debut Survival Program,' jointly produced by FNC Japan and Japan's terrestrial broadcaster NTV, was broadcast in about 220 countries and regions including Japan and achieved success. The system involves 15 trainees from FNC Japan, with the final five debuting. So far, five have been eliminated, and 10 trainees are currently auditioning. Once the audition is completed in January this year, the debut is scheduled for the first quarter. Researcher Yoo said, "FNC Entertainment's momentum in Japan through a local girl group is expected," and added, "Due to the success of this audition, an audition for a 'local Japanese boy group' is also anticipated."
