[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The first joint on-site investigation to determine the cause of the fire at the new cold storage construction site in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, where three firefighters died in the line of duty, will be conducted on the 10th.
The Southern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency Investigation Headquarters will carry out the first joint on-site investigation starting at 10:30 a.m. at the cold storage construction site located in Cheongbuk-eup, Pyeongtaek, where the fire broke out.
The joint investigation will involve related organizations including the Southern Gyeonggi Police Agency, the National Forensic Service, the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters, the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, the Korea Gas Safety Corporation, and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
