Redrover Opens Dream NFT Platform Market 'MyMong Store'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Redrover, a global content company famous for the animation Nut Job, announced on the 10th that it has succeeded in developing the world's first technology to store or trade dreams using NFT technology.
Redrover stated, "We have succeeded in developing the world's first technology to store or trade dreams using NFT technology," and added, "Following the ‘MyMong’ service, we will start the beta service of ‘MyMong Store,’ where users can manage their dreams and buy or sell them, and the official service will begin on the 25th." They further explained, "We emphasize that dreams are individual creative works with rights belonging to each person, and we have developed the ‘MyMong Store,’ a platform where dreams can be commercialized and traded, which is currently operating in beta service."
A company representative explained, "In the upcoming metaverse era, a dream market where dreams are bought and sold is expected to become a new and powerful item in the global market," and added, "Our goal is to interpret and store the contents of dreams in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era and enable the ownership of those dreams to be traded to people who need that energy."
Breaking the conventional notion that relied only on empirical recognition or statistical interpretation of dreams, ‘MyMong’ is a service that analyzes and interprets the contents of dreams by inputting them and using Potential Intelligence (PI) technology to classify them into 10 types and over 12,000 detailed items. The first service was launched in 2017. In July, a beta service based on web and app platforms was started.
Existing dream interpretation methods by other companies provided services by searching through categories based on pre-set keywords for each type of dream, allowing only limited interpretations within predefined frameworks. In contrast, ‘MyMong’ is a new concept dream interpretation solution that derives more diverse and accurate analysis and interpretation results through storytelling-style descriptive input of dream contents.
A Redrover representative emphasized, "The future goal of ‘MyMong Store’ is to build a metaverse platform based on dreams," and added, "Within the virtual reality metaverse platform, individuals can decorate their dreams and the spaces where dreams are stored using templates provided in the metaverse. They can also create dream content using their own voice, images, videos, and store dreams on a cloud-based ‘MyMong House.’ We plan to offer services to buy, sell, interpret, and share one’s own and others’ dreams."
They continued, "We plan to establish a ‘Dream Evaluation Committee’ to evaluate and verify the dreams sold on ‘MyMong Store’ to ensure maximum objectivity," and added, "In the future, we will open the ‘MyMong House’ metaverse where each user can store their dreams and invite others, and gradually expand services such as trading, auctions, storage, and community in the virtual space."
