Harim Expands Sales Channels for 'Jayeon Sillok Animal Welfare Chicken'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Comprehensive food company Harim announced on the 10th that it will expand the sales channels of ‘Jayeon Sillok Animal Welfare Chicken 8 Types’ to nationwide small and medium-sized marts, including Nonghyup Hanaro Mart.
Recently, as the so-called ‘value consumption’ culture emphasizing environment and ethics spreads, the number of consumers seeking eco-friendly and animal welfare-related products is increasing. Accordingly, Harim decided to increase consumer contact points by placing animal welfare certified chicken products, which were mainly sold in large marts, in small and medium-sized marts.
Harim’s Jayeon Sillok animal welfare products use chickens raised on eco-friendly farms certified for animal welfare and antibiotic-free by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The products sold at Nonghyup Hanaro Mart nationwide this time include a total of 8 types such as Jayeon Sillok Animal Welfare Whole Chicken, Jayeon Sillok Animal Welfare Chicken Stew, Jayeon Sillok Animal Welfare Chicken Drumsticks, and Jayeon Sillok Animal Welfare Chicken Thigh Meat.
