[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate who tested negative for COVID-19, will resume official schedules on the 9th.
The Democratic Party's election campaign committee announced that Lee tested negative in a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test conducted at a screening clinic in Seoul the day before.
Earlier, Lee canceled his schedule and underwent testing after a staff member involved in the 'Myeongshim Concert' held on the 7th was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
On this day, Lee will resume his on-site campaign in Seoul under the concept of 'BMW (Bus, Metro, Walking) canvassing.' In the afternoon, he will hold a meeting at a small theater in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to listen to the opinions of small business owners working in the blind spots of loss compensation.
