"Helping Solve Environmental and Social Issues Through Everyday Actions" LG Chem Launches App
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] LG Chem announced that it will launch an application called ‘Alji?’ on the 10th to raise awareness about environmental and social issues. Alji (rz) is an abbreviation of ‘re:act to zero,’ meaning to react and act together to eliminate social conflicts, imbalances, and environmental problems.
The app features four main menus: content that makes ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) easy to understand, missions that can be easily practiced in daily life, donations where collected funds are delivered, and events where points earned in the app can be exchanged. Users earn donation funds each time they read sustainability-related messages or complete simple missions such as uploading certification photos of using tumblers or public transportation, or participating in environmental OX quizzes. To motivate users, the company also awards separate Alji points for completing missions, which can be exchanged for gifticons or donated.

Shin Hak-cheol, Vice Chairman of LG Chem, said on the 9th, "We will create a sustainable future as a company that generates real value for customers and society."
