Solving Urban Issues with 'Digital' ... Gijang-gun and LX Corporation Sign Agreement to Build Digital Twin
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun recently signed a business agreement with Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX) to establish the ‘Gijang-gun Digital Twin Platform’.
Gijang-gun plans to fully launch the project to establish an information-sharing system and derive administrative models.
The agreement was made to solve Gijang-gun’s current issues and provide efficient administrative services through spatial information data, including high-resolution 3D city models, and platform construction.
According to the agreement, Gijang-gun will promote ▲ the construction and exchange of urban and spatial information for realizing a digital twin land ▲ the discovery of digital twin land administrative service models to solve urban problems ▲ the establishment of a mutual support system for the platform to support smart administration.
Gijang-gun will implement simulation functions by utilizing traffic information analysis data built with modeling data of the Osiria Tourist Complex. By visualizing and analyzing the current status, it plans to respond efficiently to issues related to the complex.
