Jangseong-gun to Recruit 'Successor Agricultural Managers and Young Successor Farmers' Until the 28th
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it is recruiting candidates for the 2022 Successor Farmer Manager Support Project and the Young Successor Farmer Settlement Support Project until the 28th.
The Successor Farmer Manager Support Project supports farmers aged 18 to under 50 who have been independently managing farms for 10 years or less.
If selected, candidates can receive support for purchasing farmland, installing facilities, and Hanwoo cattle stocking under loan conditions of up to 300 million KRW, with a 5-year grace period and 10-year installment repayment at an annual interest rate of 2%.
Farmers wishing to participate in the project can visit the Jangseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center to submit an application.
The Young Successor Farmer Settlement Support Project supports farmers aged 18 to under 40 who have been independently managing farms for 3 years or less.
If selected, a settlement support fund of 800,000 to 1,000,000 KRW per month will be provided for up to 3 years, with the amount varying according to farming experience.
Applications for the project can be submitted online through the Agricultural Project Information System.
A county official stated, “Through this support project, we plan to alleviate the initial difficulties of prospective and young farmers and help them successfully settle in farming. We ask for active participation from young and capable farmers who will lead the future development of agriculture.”
