[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in instructed on the 7th to strengthen quarantine measures around U.S. military bases in South Korea.
Regarding the increase in confirmed cases among foreigners residing in Korea and the occurrence of multiple confirmed cases at U.S. military bases, President Moon said on the day, "Closely cooperate with the U.S. military to ensure more thorough quarantine management for U.S. military bases and personnel."
He continued, "Take proactive special measures to strengthen quarantine around residents near U.S. military bases and at businesses and facilities frequented by U.S. military personnel."
