The country with the highest number of confirmed cases is the United States, with a cumulative total of 58,449,898 confirmed cases and 833,957 deaths.
This day marks the 739th day since COVID-19, which first emerged in Wuhan, China on December 31, 2019, was initially reported to the World Health Organization (WHO).
