BBQ Delivers 30 Chickens to 'Haengbok Kkumteo' Child Welfare Facility in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] BBQ announced on the 7th that, to welcome the Year of the Black Tiger, volunteers directly participated on the 6th at ‘Haengbok Kkumteo’ (Dochon Regional Children's Center), a child welfare facility located in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, donating 30 chickens to take the first step in this year’s ‘Chicken Relay’.
The donation was the first activity carried out after signing the ‘2022 Korea Dream and Hope Project BBQ Chicken Relay Social Contribution Business Agreement’ with the nonprofit organization Hope Lighthouse in December last year. Starting with this Dochon regional child welfare facility, BBQ plans to donate chicken once a week for 52 weeks to socially vulnerable groups in each region together with Hope Lighthouse.
