Kim Ki-young Appointed as New Auditor of Financial Supervisory Service, Former Head of Public Official Inspection Division at Board of Audit and Inspection
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Kim Ki-young has been appointed as the head of the Public Service Inspection Headquarters at the Board of Audit and Inspection for the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) audit.
On the 7th, the Financial Services Commission (FSC) announced that Chairman Ko Seung-beom, after the FSC's resolution, recommended Kim as the new auditor of the FSS.
The FSS auditor is finally appointed by the President following the FSC's resolution and the Chairman's recommendation, according to the Act on the Establishment, etc. of the FSC.

Kim, a graduate of the 35th Administrative Examination, has worked at the Board of Audit and Inspection since 1998. He has held positions including head of the Social Welfare Audit Bureau, public relations officer at the Public Relations Office, director of the Administrative Safety Audit Bureau, director of the Industrial Finance Audit Bureau, and director of the Planning and Coordination Office. Since 2020, he has served as the head of the Public Service Inspection Headquarters.
