On the 6th, the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) urged caution regarding clothing for mornings and evenings due to large temperature fluctuations starting next week during its regular forecast briefing. Temperatures until this weekend are expected to be higher than average, but morning temperatures are predicted to remain below freezing.
Forecast analyst Woo Jin-gyu explained, "From the 11th, temperatures will drop by more than 10 degrees, then recover to current levels on the 13th, and drop sharply again on the 14th and 15th, indicating significant temperature changes. It is important to ventilate indoor spaces regularly and take thorough precautions against respiratory illnesses."

There is a possibility of snow flurries in the Seoul metropolitan area. However, snow clouds forming in the lower atmosphere are expected to produce a small amount of snow with relatively weak intensity.
In the western areas adjacent to the sea, sleet is expected, and snow is anticipated mainly in the central and northern inland regions. The KMA also explained that due to the influence of a weak low-pressure trough, light snow or rain may fall in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, and the Yeongseo region of Gangwon.
Next week, with large fluctuations in temperature and weather, rain is likely in the Jeolla region on the 11th, nationwide on the 13th and 14th, and mainly in the Jeolla region on the 15th.

Analyst Woo said, "Between the 13th and 14th, there will be a large temperature variation in a short period, with temperatures changing rapidly within 12 hours, and precipitation clouds may move across the country from the northwest to the southeast. Currently, the atmosphere is dry, making it difficult for precipitation clouds to form, so please refer to medium-term forecasts and other updates."
