Umi Construction to Supply Over 14,000 Households Nationwide This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Woomi Construction announced on the 6th that it plans to supply about 14,000 households across 18 complexes nationwide this year. This is the largest annual supply volume in the company's history.
In the metropolitan area, there are 522 households in Paju Unjeong 3rd Phase A-33 Block, 798 households in Hwaseong Bibong B4 Block, and 875 households in Incheon Geomdan 7th Phase AB17 Block. Additionally, in the second half of the year, 1,200 households in the redevelopment project Gimpo Bukbyeon and 1,023 households in Hwaseong Namyang 1st and 2nd Phases are also scheduled to be supplied.
In the Busan and Gyeongnam region, supply will start with 688 households in Yangsan Sasong C2 Block, followed by 419 households in Busan Jangan B-1 Block, and 886 households in Busan Eco Delta 27 Block.
In the Gwangju and Jeolla region, 734 households in Gwangju Unamsan and 1,057 households in Muan Oryong 1st and 2nd Phases are planned. In the Daegu area, 402 households in Daegu Wolam and 227 households in Daegu Sinam redevelopment project will be supplied. In the Chungcheong region, rental apartments for post-sale are planned with 551 households in Seosan Techno A3a Block, 1,625 households in Eumseong Seongbon 1st and 2nd Phases, and 696 households in Jecheon Sinwol.

A Woomi Construction official said, "As the time spent at home has increased due to COVID-19 and social structures have diversified, housing demand is also diversifying. In 2022, we plan to segment supply types through not only self-developed projects but also redevelopment and rental projects to meet various housing demands."
