Gochang-gun Recruiting 9 People for 'Local Community Job Project'
[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun announced on the 6th that it is accepting applications for the 2022 first half local community job project until the 12th to promote the livelihood stability of vulnerable residents and create jobs.
The project, which will employ a total of 9 people, includes multicultural understanding instructor dispatch, parking order guidance, and urban park beautification projects.
Applicants must be Gochang-gun residents aged 18 or older with working ability, belonging to vulnerable groups with household income below 65% of the median income and assets under 400 million KRW.
The county will prioritize selecting youth under 34 years old and homeless people who meet the income criteria, and will give additional points to employment protection and support targets, female household heads, persons with disabilities and their families, and those who are on leave or have closed businesses to increase employment opportunities.
Workers participating in the job project under 65 years old will work up to 40 hours per week, and those 65 or older will work up to 25 hours per week.
Wages will be paid based on this year's minimum hourly wage to contribute to the employment and livelihood stability of vulnerable groups in the area.
A county official said, "We will continue to provide more jobs to vulnerable groups in the area to contribute to livelihood stability and create a warm local atmosphere for residents. We will strive to be a county that supports the improvement of the quality of life of our citizens."
