Haenam-gun, 10% Discount Sale on Sarang Gift Certificates for the New Year
[Haenam＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jeonnam Haenam-gun is conducting a 10% discount sale on Haenam Love Gift Certificates to welcome the New Year.
According to the county on the 5th, the purchase limit is a total of 700,000 won combining paper and card types, and a purchase appreciation event will also be held.
If you purchase more than 500,000 won worth of Haenam Love Gift Certificates during January, you will be automatically entered into a drawing. A total of 200 winners (100 for paper gift certificates, 100 for card gift certificates) will be selected through a random draw in February, and winners will receive a small gift.
The results will be announced on the county office website and individual text messages will be sent afterward.
Haenam Love Gift Certificates, which began issuance in April 2019, rapidly grew from 17 billion won in the first year to 125 billion won in 2020, and increased to 175 billion won in 2021.
Setting the largest issuance and sales record at the county level, it also received the Excellence Award as the only recipient in Jeonnam in the nationwide Local Love Gift Certificate Best Practice Evaluation hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety last year.
With the spread of non-face-to-face payments, an app rechargeable check card method was introduced last year, and this year, plans include introducing a ‘donation platform’ to realize social value and adding a function to automatically recharge the card gift certificate at a set amount or monthly due date.
A county official said, “Although national subsidies for gift certificates have greatly decreased this year, we plan to implement various revitalization strategies for small business owners and residents who are going through difficult times, and we will do our best to ensure that Haenam Love Gift Certificates continue to be with the people of Haenam.”
