Busan Gijang-gun Achieves 'Highest Grade' for Three Consecutive Times in National Youth Training Facilities Comprehensive Evaluation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Gijang-gun Youth Center has received the 'Highest Grade' in the '2021 National Youth Training Facility Comprehensive Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
Gijang-gun Youth Center has achieved the 'Highest Grade' for three consecutive times from 2017 to 2021.
The Gijang-gun side stated, "Gijang-gun Youth Center received positive evaluations by reflecting the voices of local youth and residents in content development and operating specialized programs such as career-focused programs and family-centered programs."
The comprehensive evaluation of youth training facilities is conducted every two years by the Korea Youth Policy Institute, targeting 497 youth training facilities nationwide.
The evaluation is conducted through expert review based on 28 sub-indicators across 7 areas, including ▲operation and management system of training facilities ▲youth usage and program operation ▲organization and personnel operation status.
A Gijang-gun official said, "This year, we plan to actively support the opening of the Gijang Youth Center located in Gyo-ri, Gijang-eup, to help nurture the dreams and hopes of youth."

Gijang-gun received the Prime Minister's Commendation in the '2020 Excellent Local Government Youth Policy Evaluation,' and the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Commendations in the '2020 Youth Participation Committee' and the '2021 Excellent Local Government Youth Policy Evaluation,' respectively.
