SK Telecom Unveils 'Green ICT Technology' for 'Net Zero' Globally

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SK Telecom will showcase green information and communication technology (ICT) for the net-zero carbon neutrality era at 'CES 2022,' the world's largest IT and electronics exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, from the 5th (local time) to the 8th, spanning four days.
SK Telecom, together with SK Inc., SK Innovation, SK Hynix, SK E&S, and SK Ecoplant, set up a joint exhibition booth covering 920㎡ in the Central Hall under the theme '2030 SK Net-Zero Commitment Declaration.'

View original imageAt the booth, they introduce next-generation technologies that significantly reduce power consumption compared to existing ones, including the artificial intelligence semiconductor 'SAPEON' and 'Single-RAN' technology.
They also present ICT services that can reduce carbon emissions in daily life, such as the metaverse platform 'ifland,' the reusable cup circulation program 'Happy Habit,' and the optimal route navigation service 'T map.'
