Burger King to Raise Prices on Whopper and Selected Items Starting from the 7th
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Burger King announced on the 5th that it will raise the prices of some products starting from the 7th.
The menu items with increased prices include a total of 33 items, including 25 types of burgers. The average price increase rate is 2.9%, with an average increase of 215 KRW.
Notably, the Whopper price will rise from 6,100 KRW to 6,400 KRW, the Whopper Junior from 4,300 KRW to 4,400 KRW, and French Fries from 1,700 KRW to 1,800 KRW.

A Burger King representative explained, "This unavoidable decision was made due to various external factors such as the sharp rise in raw material prices caused by overseas production and logistics crises, as well as increased overall costs including minimum wage hikes."
