Shinhan Card Supports Strengthening Digital Financial Capabilities for the Elderly
Seoul 50 Plus Foundation and Peach Market
Develop Digital Financial Content and Support Education for the Elderly
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 5th that it has signed a 'Digital Financial Capability Enhancement Business Agreement' with the Seoul 50 Plus Foundation and the non-profit organization Peach Market to meet the diverse digital financial needs of the elderly.
Through this business agreement, Shinhan Card will support educational content aimed at strengthening the digital financial capabilities of the elderly. It is expected to help reduce the digital financial gap by informing elderly people, who are unfamiliar with non-face-to-face financial transactions accelerated by COVID-19 and face difficulties, about ways to enjoy various financial benefits.
The content supported by Shinhan Card will be used by 'financial mentors' operated by the Seoul 50 Plus Foundation and Peach Market to provide one-on-one education to the elderly or for online education.
