The KLPGA Tour announced the 2022 season schedule and prize money scale on the 4th. There will be 33 tournaments, with total prize money of approximately 30.5 billion KRW, and an average prize money per tournament of 930 million KRW. This is the first time the total prize money has exceeded 30 billion KRW. The previous largest scale was 26.9 billion KRW last season. Compared to last year, the number of tournaments increased by 4, and total prize money increased by 3.6 billion KRW. The annual number of 33 tournaments is also the highest ever. The opening event is the Lotte Rent-a-Car Ladies Open on April 7.

The season finale is the SK Shieldus·SK Telecom Championship, which ends on November 13. In December, three tournaments will be held abroad: the Taiwan Ladies Open, the Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open, and an unnamed tournament in Vietnam. These three tournaments take place after the end of the 2022 season finale and are counted as part of the 2023 season. Chairman Kim Jung-tae said, "Creating a safe tour is the top priority," and added, "We will become an advanced tour through various system maintenance and institutional improvements."
