Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation Receives Minister of the Interior and Safety Commendation for Establishing Public Service Discipline
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation announced on the 4th that it received a commendation from the Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for its contribution to establishing public service discipline, including anti-corruption and the spread of a culture of integrity.
Every year, the government selects and rewards outstanding public officials and public institutions that have contributed to establishing public service discipline through audit tasks such as public service inspection and autonomous internal control.
Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation was recognized for its efforts in eradicating corrupt practices among public officials and building a culture of integrity, including proactive administrative support such as pre-consulting audits, proactive administration supporters, and internal lawyer systems; activation of internal reporting through the establishment of a safe reporting lawyer system and anonymous reporter reward system; and strict measures with a zero-tolerance policy against power abuse and workplace harassment offenders.
Based on this, Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation was previously selected as an “Excellent Institution in the Integrity and Ethics Category” at the ‘2021 Audit Awards’ hosted by the Korea Audit Association and achieved excellent ratings for two consecutive years and zero occurrence of corrupt public officials in the ‘2021 Public Institution Integrity Measurement’ hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
